January 2013: Charlie has collaborated with longtime friend and veteran musician, Michael Mugrage, on a new song about the New York Knicks' Tyson Chandler, "The Minister of D." Michael, who played with Orleans, has worked with and/or written songs for a variety of artists over the years including Smokey Robinson, Chaka Khan, Ronnie Spector, and James Brown.
The song is available on iTunes; Charlie, Michael, and Fred Cantor, who wrote the lyrics, are donating 25% of the revenues they receive from sales of the song to the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
Let's go Knicks!
