Steven Tyler met me with David Hull and Buddy Miles in 1970 in Boston.  He describes the meeting in his new book but incorrectly says that my name is Charlie Ferrin.  Charlie is a wonderful guitar player.  He played on Joe Perry's solo album, I've Got The Rock N Rolls Again, which probably caused the confusion, but I just wanted to get it right.  Joe's album, by the way, has a song written by Charlie Karp and David Hull called Buzz, Buzz.

Charlie Karp is a songwriter, music producer and  rhythm & blues guitarist residing in Fairfield County, CT.  He writes music for television programs, commercials, and movies as well as for other performers.   He  frequently performs in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey with his bands including Slo Leak and Charlie Karp & The Namedroppers.  Slo Leak is a unique blues and electronic fusion which he wrote and produced with Danny Kortchmar.  The Namedroppers are a group of  talented musicians from the area who perform high energy rock, rhythm and blues orignials as well as popular tunes.
